Eva Albers and Jenny Veide Vilg attend the 2nd International Conference on Algal Biorefinery
Eva Albers and Jenny Veide Vilg from Chalmers University of Technology participated in the 2nd International Conference on Algal Biorefinery: A potential source of food, feed, biochemicals, biofuels and biofertilizers, held 27th - 29th August 2014 at DTU, Lyngby, in Denmark http://www.conferencemanager.dk/algalbioref/home.html. The objectives of the conference were to share research experience and update technology on utilization of algae for biotechnological application and to provide a stage for strong collaborative network in algal physiology, ecology, molecular biology and biotechnology. At the conference Eva and Jenny presented a poster on SEAFARM activities in focus areas 3 and 4, entitled "Brown seaweed biorefinery for food/feed ingredients, green materials, and bioenergy production".
